God's Not Dead - Newsboys

The Experience: The Newsboys take their personal beliefs and throw it into a determined beat. Whatever you believe about the theme (or the music), you can't doubt their conviction.

Music Video: Members of the Newsboys get bombarded by messages (newspaper, billboards, tweets, TV) that "God is dead." The list is: No evidence found that God exists. Man is just another animal. Everything came from nothing. How can a good God allow evil?
They think about it for a moment, and start responding, re-tweeting, and singing their answers: Complexity of life points to a design. Man is made in the image of God. Everything came from Something. God made us free to choose - man chose evil.

The meaning of Newsboys' God's Not Dead is as clear as the title itself. The arguments of the video put out limited lines of both sides. There's way more to be said on either side. What do you say? How central is your belief or un-belief to your life... to everyone's life?

Ask Yourself: What do you think about God?

LYRICS:
Let love explode and bring the dead to life
A love so bold to see a revolution somehow

Let love explode and bring the dead to life
A love so bold to bring a revolution somehow

Now I'm lost in Your freedom
In this world I'll overcome

[2x]
My God's not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion

Roaring, He's roaring, roaring like a lion

Let hope arise and make the darkness hide
My faith is dead I need resurrection somehow

Now I'm lost in Your freedom
In this world I'll overcome

[2x]
My God's not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion

Roaring, He's roaring, roaring like a lion
He's roaring, He's roaring

[3x]
Let heaven roar
And fire fall
Come shake the ground
With the sound
Of revival

[4x]
My God's not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion

He's roaring, He's roaring, He's roaring like a lion [2x]
