What's Going On #BringBackOurGirlsAlive - Don Velli

The Experience: Don Velli takes the news of the 300 Nigerian schoolgirls kidnapped by the terrorist group Boko Haram, and puts it before our eyes and our ears, singing "Oh Lord... bring back our girls alive." This is when music becomes the messenger.

Official Video: Flashing scenes of news footage in Nigeria, statues of Jesus and angels from St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, and strange unearthly figures of evils and revolutions, the camera always comes back to Don Velli, as if on the phone with God, asking Him to lend us a hand.

The meaning of Don Velli's What's Going On seems obvious: asking God so that the 300 girls kidnapped in Chibok, Nigeria come back, alive
Two questions come out - ask yourself:
First, why does God allow atrocities to happen? What is His answer? Have I asked Him that? Have I waited for an answer?
The second is, when I see atrocities on TV, do I care anymore? Or did I get bored by this tragedy and the others I see on the news? Am I still sensitive to others' pain... Or do I change channels? Do I promise to make the world a better place? Do I, as Don Velli does here, pray for the victims?
